It was raining out, and there were a wide variety of highly unpleasant things falling from the sky, so....

Hmph, triphenylsilane! What an irritating molecule! ;) Rest assured I
had nothing to do with it.

Welcome! I think that may have been one of the fastest and most
unprompted showups of newbies in this froup, which clearly indicates
that you belong here!

Here, we have stashed the best tea for this froup. Have a nice cup of
insaniTea.

Oh, and don't mind the large cake in the corner. Nikitta (aka MEow)
lives in it, but she doesn't come out from it much these days. Something
about internet in Ireland being transferred by UPS or something... Oh
well, with her moving frequncy she'll probably have moved to another
country before she gets an internet connection in the country she's
currently occupying[9]!

Best
Kåre

[9] With occupying it mean it in the quite literal sense of "I claim
this country in the name of afda" of course

Thanks for the InsaniTea, though I expect some people may think me more
deserving of StupidiTea. As for occupying, as far as I can tell,
sticking a flag in the ground is all that's actually required to
accomplish this. I personally make a point of carrying a supply of tiny
flags with my name printed on them.

Well, I'm sure you're just misunderstood! I expect you are clearly
insane rather than stupid :-) (I need to work on my compliments, don't I?)

Ah! Have you conquered any interesting mole hills recently then?

I've never seen a mole in these parts. I think they're carried south by
swallows. But there is a lovely cupcake in the fridge with my name
literally on it.

You're not confusing moles with swallows?

Also, did we ever claim anything but "real" countries? I mean,
something like Andorra is almost too small to be called a real
country...

I've always wanted to go to Andorra...I hear they speak either French
and have an ecomomy based on tourist skiiers. I can't ski, though, or
skate (I'm such a horrible Canadian), so they might turn me away at the
border.

I think they're mostly speaking catalan, which is close enough to
spanish that most people able to speak and understand spanish would
have no problems in Andorra. But as their economy seems based on sheep
and tourism, one would probably be able to get well along with english
:-)

I guess the whole point is that I'm going. If noone ever claimed
Andorra in the name of afda, I will try to...
